BIOGRAPHY

The Chicago Native, Doza Tha Goddess, developed a love for music at an early stage in her life. During her teenage years, she watched and admired lyricists on the scene from Mc Lyte to Busta Rhymes to Missy Elliot. She began experimenting with hip-hop in a eclectic & eccentric way by free styling, twisting & singing. Soon she realized her lyrical skill and magnetic personality provided an ability to captivate her audience. This, in addition to, her love for music spurred within her a strong desire to become a performing artist.

At age 15 Doza was discovered by the rap group Soldierz at War (S.A.W.). During her career with S.A.W. Doza opened up for several major acts...Lil Wayne, Eve and Twista to name a few.

Although her span with S.A.W. was a rewarding experience, Doza decided to become a solo artist. Yearning for the opportunity to show the world her unique style through writing and composing her own music. The creativity of Doza's music is catchy, but easy on the ear; with lyrics that flow simply in an interesting manner.

Doza's aim is to create music that encourages everyone to have fun and enjoy life. Everyone faces hard times and troubles, but it's uplifting to hear music you can bounce to and remind you that the best is yet to come.

Through years of learning, practice and honing in on capturing the audience, Doza has become a reputable artist in the city of
Chicago.
